About the Artist

In February 2005 a medical condition changed Queensland-based artist Lisa Stamos’s life’s direction dramatically, allowing her to pursue her life long passion for painting. Since then she has been painting professionally - her inspiration coming from all animals, especially endangered species and their plight. In May 2007, she held her first solo exhibition at the Coolooa Shire Public Gallery, Queensland and she has formed part of many group exhibitions, including Mary Vale Art Fesitval, Imbil, 8^th Annual Kenilworth Art Exhibition, Hervey Bay Gallery 5 Easter Exhibition and the Gympie Regional Show and has received numerous awards.
