About the Artist

Gold Coast based Abbey McCulloch is exhibiting for the third year in HSI’s Extinction Denied exhibition. She has had many group exhibitions since 1999 including Figuratively, Genesis, Art Angels, Luminous and White Lies Beneath in galleries in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Holding at least one solo exhibition each year, Abbey’s work has become well recognized and has been profiled in many publications. Abbey was shortlisted for the Archibald Portrait Prize this year and has received several other awards and prizes and has collections in the USA, Malaysia, Hong Kong and throughout Australia.
