About the Artist Eleven year old Gabriel Ghazi was born in Sydney (15 September 1996) to artist parents, Xavier Ghazi and Catherine Abadie, so naturally Gabriel benefited from exposure to a great wealth of artistic influence since birth. Opportunities to fiddle about with paint were frequent, and influences and sources of inspiration were diverse. Depiction of computer game characters is a favourite, but so is "dripping painting" a la Jackson Pollock! |
