About the Artist

Marguerite Derricourt’s paintings, drawings and sculpture have been shown in numerous exhibitions in England, South Africa and Australia spanning almost four decades. Commissions for the private and corporate sectors are exhibited in Zambia, South Africa, USA, UK and Europe as well as sculptures for The Australian Opera, Sydney and City of Adelaide’s Rundle Mall.  Teaching has also played an important role in Marguerite’s life, most recently as a painting teacher to disabled artists in Sydney. Marguerite has had abundant sculpture exhibitions at the Robin Gibson Gallery in Sydney, most recently her solo exhibition “The Horse Show”, as well as being involved in Sydney’s Sculpture by the Sea in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2004.
