About the Artist Lucy Culliton graduated with a Diploma of Fine Arts from the National Art School Sydney in 1996 and since 1998 the Ray Hughes Gallery, Sydney has been the setting for Lucy’s solo exhibitions almost every year. Her works have also been displayed in abundant group exhibitions, most notably during 2003 when she was shown in both the Dobell and Archibald Prizes at the Art Gallery of NSW, and the Sulman Prize in 2001. Lucy has also exhibited in the Portia Geach Memorial Award, SH Irvin Gallery in 1999, 2000 and 2001. Awards include the 2004 Kedumba Drawing Prize and first prize of the Mosman Art Prize as well as Highly Commended at the 1999 Portia Geach Memorial Award. |
